This year Josh and I decided were going too keep track of all of our fish. After last season where we litterally had no clue of what we caught, we thought it would be cool too see where we stand on December 31st. All of our fish so far have been caught on artifical. No live bait and none through the ice. This winter was by far the warmest one of our lives and the fishing never died off. From Candlewood in January to the Housy and the CT River the past few months the numbers are pilling up fast. So far the highest totals are the LMB and second most is Pikeral. There seem to be more of them this year than ever.
So far this year ive had my personal best largemouth - 7lbs and smallmouth - 4.7lbs. We also have more pike this season than all of last year. We have 25 pike total! Although smaller than the norm they are still pike. Its been nothing short of a great start. Stay tuned!
Way to go Joey ! Hard work pays off.
